Clair started boarding dogs and cats for friends who wanted that special touch for their pets when they went away or off to London for some shopping. Then running a small marketing operation from home made Animalantix more of a formal arrangement.

She has the biggest soft spot for animals. Don't get me wrong, there is a firm but very generous way she deals with them. They all seem to love her and the way they go absolutely bonkers when they know they are near her house is a good indicator. Clair has a "pets first" motto in her house and her dearest husband is very tolerant.

Weimaraners have been her favourite dogs for over 28 years and with her old Arab x Welsh horse she used to go off treking for many hours in the woods round Marlow. Now, with 5 Weimaraners she breeds to continue a fabulous line of working and showing dogs. Clair has worked closely with trainers, vets and is in the process of studying for a certificate in Canine behaviour and training. Having already taken a course in Canine healthcare and is a great believer that nutrition and diet are at the root of a lot of dogs problems.
